First Sonogram
Yesterday was so fun and exciting. We really had no clue what to expect, except for what you can google and find on the internet or of course what your friends may say by experience. We went straight back to the ultra sound room where in just a few short seconds we were able to see our little baby on the screen. We even saw he or she wiggle for a second and that made our hearts melt! Even neater was seeing the heartbeat (164) and it just made everything that more real and emotional for us. As we were leaving I kept saying how I wanted to go back and do it again, I just couldn't get enough! Ryan made a good point...soak it all in and don't rush it because they'll be 18 before you know it. So I am going live by his theory from here on (though secretly I can't wait until our 12 week sonogram!).

New Grandparent Attire
So last night...as guests where enjoying visiting and eating all the good food we prepared our of excitement about this night of finally telling everyone our news - Liz decided to throw everyone off by saying she had something to say. No one had a clue what was about to happen. As she began to say she missed having me as a roomie she knew there were great things in store for 2012, she then announced that she was going to be a PROUD AUNT. About half the group was in shock and the other half said they knew it might be coming since I was drinking water. Anyway, it was quite a night and we are so excited to now share the news. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR US! We are very blessed and happy to have such loving family and friends (mom, dad, Liz, Leslie, Pat, Beverly and so many more)!
Proud Parents TO BE!
Last night we had several friends and family over for a "cook out", to which they had no clue what was about to happen. It's not to often people surprise their friends with news of a honeymoon baby. The faces were priceless when Liz walked out with her onesie! (pictures to come)
We feel extremely blessed and are anxiously awaiting all the wonderful experiences ahead. We ask for your prayers as we venture through this journey!
